Hard rock hearth

Taking the path by the sea in Villefranche-sur-Mer, at the foot of the citadel, one can see a lot of things happening. That's what I realized today on my little trip there. It is said that walls have ears. We all know that. But if they do have ears, and also have feet, why can't they have a heart too? This picture tells the truth, nobody will be able to argue on the theory. I missed it by one day though. If I had been there yesterday, this little heart would have been discovered.. on Valentine's Day!
Now, that probably explains why hearts can be found everywhere, even on trees, if you are ready to see them. Try it, and you'll see. They show up in places or at times you would not expect. Keep an eye on them..
For those interested in Villefranche-sur-Mer, it's just past Nice on the scenic road. Make sure you visit the citadel, the port and all the little streets with their colorful houses and boutiques. And try the oldest and most obscure street of all called Rue Obscure, built in the 13th century and is at the heart (see, again!) of the old town of Villefranche-sur-Mer.
Good Light,
Norm
