Oh my god, hummer

Oh my god, hummer

On our last trip to Warsaw (Poland) I had a chance to spend some time and walk around in Old Town. I managed to take some great shot but of them got my attention more than the others. It's that kind of shot that's given to you, as a photographer, but you have to seize the opportunity to grab it while it's there. Timing is everything! I was walking on Krakowskie Przedmieście boulevard at corner of Krolewska when I saw two nuns standing on the opposite corner of the intersection.

At this very moment a huge extended hummer turned the corner and the nuns looked at it with amazement. Their eyes could not quit following the Hummer. I like the contrast between the two subjects and also the black and white clothing of the nuns. Seconds later the Hummer was gone and the nuns walked away as if nothing happened.

That's probably what Henri Cartier-Bresson called "The Decisive Moment". And we all need a bit of that from time to time. We are opportunists!

Good Light!
