See you there, Villefranche-sur-Mer

Just a couple weeks ago I was in Villefranche-sur-Mer for some shooting in old town. Those following my posts certainly remember the story about the wall and its heart (see "Hard Rock Heart"). The season goes on and we're heading, I hope, toward warmer temperature and better weather in general. It reminded me of a shot I took around this time time last year in Villefranche-sur-Mer, and it makes me wish we'll see that again soon. Cruise ships, tourists, sun and the pleasures of Côte d'Azur are about to make a come back. Whether it's good or bad, life goes on and we'll soon wish we have more of that. At least the sun and warmth!
This shot was taken on April 23rd last year, just before we leave Villefranche-sur-Mer after a couple days of shooting and enjoying the place and its people. Believe it or not, this was shot from the car with a Fuji X100. Cropping the frame on its width to give a panoramic effect seemed like a good option to me. I hope you like it..
Good Light!
